The Pandemic virus

is a Covid-19 virus.

It has changed the world

and it's now a highly revered alien that has 

infiltrated the world.

Humanity has been brought to a standstill.

Economies, borders and governments have been reduced 

to a footstool.

Nobody ever bargained to encounter this new decade

and we are probably wishing to get back to a peaceful decade.

The scourge of the pandemic virus 

maybe a conspiracy virus

dividing the world

or bringing the world together.

Let's stay safe in this biological warfare

and stay optimistic to conquer this spiritual warfare.

The global pandemic virus 

will vanish into thin air hopefully

and be a long forgotten virus.

THE GOAL OF A DESTINED DAY

Everyday is a gift and as we wake up to a brand new day we cant help but notice the golden opportunities awaiting us for this destined day.

Yesterday is gone with history, and mistakes and regrets have faded away with the start of a brand new day heralded by a brand new sunny, snowy or rainy weather.

Waking up this morning to the the brand new sound of nature; birds chirping out their gratefulness, the sounds of tress swaying and rustling to the fresh morning breeze and the distant sounds of automobiles and motorcycles getting started and ready for another day of hustle and bustle in one of the most vibrant West African economy and state of the world.

I reluctantly dragged myself out of bed and made a mental outline of the goals I had to achieve for the day. Time is not a friend this days as time waits for no man anymore. A previous busy days schedule with some achieved goals will have today perfect and finalise those goals if time permits while not forgetting about the grace of God needed to actualise them.

Life can be very busy at times, with our daily activities being divided by work, family, church and social activities, but there's an utmost need to prioritise ones goal in order to maximize time and achieve one's cruial purpose, goals, aims and needs.

Notwithstanding we can never be selfish with our own goals as we need to also aid or help one another in service or any other means to achieve global or communal, social and independent goals which can be tied to families, work-places, churches, or social organisations.

Taking out time to share inspirational pictures on my social pages Josag Femi InspirationalPoetry has been a hobby I developed while schooling in a French West African country. What started out as a hobby grew out to be a passion, hence the followers building up everyday who benefit immensely from what actually inspires them everyday.

Life is very short and time is money, we cannot always get what we want though but we can try and plan and work towards what we intend to achieve. Your impact on others either in service or finances or any other means can really go a long way. A rich man with all the money in the world will not be useful if he has not impacted nor affected any human around him.

Change is a very strong world that can be associated with achieving goals. You remain in the same position if you don't set out goals that will transform into the much needed change you desire of. The world has become a better place to live through technology and innovation because of some men who went extra miles to set revolutionary goals that transcended over time and generations actualising the much needed change needed to make the world a better place to live.

God's creation of the earth was a well planned set out goal that lasted for exactly six days and a final day of rest with every single day having him achieve a definite goal before moving on to the next goal. (Gen. 1).

Wake up with a goal and set out to achieve your destined goal and be a celebrated product of your desired goal as procrastination is a definite thief of time.

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

Waking up on a Sunday morning I struggled endlessly in my mind to make a decision to get out of bed and make it to church, because I had a busy and tiring day on Saturday which bordered on duty calls and life demands.

I arrived church moderately enough after missing out on attending Sunday school and settled down quickly to a wonderful praise and worship session that lifted my spirit and made me aware of the amazing opportunity of being in the presence of the Lord.

This session came to an end appropriately and a minister mounted the pulpit to conclude this session with some minutes of benediction.

The glory of the Lord could be felt as it pervaded the atmosphere while latecomers jostled to quickly fit into the scene while trying not to attract attention.

A choir mistress known for her regal attitude and enchanting allure walked gracefully to the pulpit to herald the Hymn of the day wonderfully titled “GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS”, which coincidentally happens to be my favorite hymn.

I sang it out so loud as if it was my countries national anthem. I reflected deeply on the faithfulness of God throughout the years which has brought me to the beginning of a wonderful new year. Gratefulness resonated in this wonderful hymn that was written by a great poet known as Thomas Chisholm (1866-1960) as a great testimony to his ordinary life.

Born in a log cabin in Franklin, Kentucky, Chisholm became a Christian when he was twenty-seven and entered the ministry when he was thirty-six, though poor health forced him to retire after just one year. During the rest of his life, Chisholm spent many years living in New Jersey and working as a life insurance agent. Still, even with a desk job, he wrote nearly 1,200 poems throughout his life, including several published hymns.

Life may throw up a myriad of challenges, but we have to stand tall and face the storms of life, never relenting nor contradicting on our faithfulness to God. The faithfulness and mercies of the Lord are new every morning and throughout the wonderful history of mankind God has proven his faithfulness and never fails to humanity, nature and mankind.

Today is a gift provided by God to actualise a destined blessing and prove his faithfulness.

THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

The mind is known to be man's most potent and powerful weapon as it is the engine where thoughts, ideas, decisions are produced which may be either positive or negative. 

Technology, fashion, entertainment, politics, religion, literature is being reshaped continuously through the reign of humanity as a result of positive thoughts churned out from the minds of positive and creative thinkers.

Your thoughts can reshape your destiny. A positive thinker is always optimistic and radiates  the light of optimism while extending it to others in form of encouragement and uplifting others. Never give up on your dreams and aspirations, it may take a while but it will be actualized with time and perseverance.

One of my favourite quotes by Thomas Edison says "I haven't failed! I've just found 10,000 ways that wont work!".

People have failed because of their negative thinking and it is detrimental to hang around negative people with negative thoughts since they tend to influence you with their negative thinking. Negative thoughts generates complains and depression, while resulting to gross ingratitude to life and nature. Some people have lost their life's through suicide  by giving up on life from their negative thinking not knowing what gift awaits them on a destined day.

A striking and fascinating example of a positive thinker and winner was David in the bible, he defeated Goliath with the power and faith of positive thinking (1Sam. 17). He was a man after God's heart because he was always filled with praise, dance and gratitude to God. 

Napoleon Bonaparte one of the greatest French military strategist and solider was known for his courageous and positive thinking that aided him in conquering.

Mark Zuckerberg transformed the world of internet and social media with quality, creative and positive thinking which birthed Facebook.

Great poets, authors, musicians, painters, athletes, engineers, doctors and a host of other professions has made the world a better place with the creative and evident results of positive thinking.

We have been created for a purpose to actualise destiny with the power of positive thinking.

THE CAMARADERIE OF FRIENDSHIP

Friendship is a gift, awarded by the Supreme Being of nature. I've been blessed with some quality friends recently that gave me a new perspective to life. It's of utmost importance to sail with friends that are of like minds and headed towards a positive goal(Prov. 13:20). Your circle of friends will determine your level of success and thinking. Friends that don't have the same mindset and vision with you can be potential envious enemies. So one has to be very careful mingling with enemies while perceiving them as friends. I call them hidden enemies, backstabber, backbiters, their position will always be behind you.

You will always be ahead of your enemies if God is on your side. Good Friends can also act as prominent helpers of destiny, advising you to tread on your promised pathway of destiny. Some friends will help in achieving your dreams, while some will derail your from the path of your dream.

The bible highlighted a fascinating story of good friendship that blossomed between David and Saul's son Jonathan(1Sam. 18:1-5), their friendship saw a test of time through destined trials that David encountered after king Saul enviously sought after his soul when he saw David as a competitor for his kingdom and throne when he triumphed in killing Goliath who has been a pestilence for the children of Israel over a period of time and therefore won the praise and glory of Israelites.

Any friendship that is detrimental to realising your destiny must be terminated. Cut-off fake friends, and appreciate real friends. I pray for someone reading this journal that your fake friends will be revealed to you while your helpers of destiny that will manifest as real friends will locate you speedily.

Celebrate good friends and always be available as a real friend to someone also, because it's vice-versa.

The camaraderie of friendship is like a ship of friendship, sailing to the promised land of friendship, encountering and overcoming storms of friendship to get to the promised treasure island of friendship.
